Documents

Documents can be stored against various entities within Concept Evolution.

Settings > Document Setup

	Document Classes	Document Classes can be used to filter Documents and can be used with Instruction Sets to force Compulsory Document upload.
	Document Sub-Classes	Document Sub-Classes can be used to filter Documents and can be used with Instruction Sets to force Compulsory Document upload.

Facilities > Document Manager

	Document Grid and Documents	The Document Manager provides a central location for uploading and reviewing Documents attached (or to be attached) to entities within Concept Evolution.

System Administration > System Preferences > Repositories

	Repositories	The Document Management functionality within Concept Evolution operates as a dedicated point of attachment and review for all documents attached to entities such as Assets, Buildings, Locations, Suppliers, etc. The Concept Evolution System Administrator can determine which entities may have Documents assigned. These Documents will be stored in a defined Repository either in the database, or outside of Concept Evolution.
	Table Register	By default not all entities in Concept Evolution have the capability to have documents stored against them. The link can be turned on from the Table Register to allow documents to be stored.

Repositories
